A1000 starts in a black/blank state
Hello all,
I have the latest WinUAE installed, and most ROMs are under the correct path as well. A500 starts just fine, but when I launch A1000, all I see is a black screen. What should I do? this is my entry on the ROM section: A1000 bootstrap ROM (64k) [252179-01/252180-01] I know it A1000 you have to insert a bootstrap disk. Could you please refresh my memory? Thanks! |

The A1000 has no Kickstart in ROM. You require an A1000 Kickstart disk image to start the emulation.

Does it have to be in .ROM or .ADF?
Thanks a million! |

A bootable Kickstart disk .ADF image contains a Kickstart ROM image and will load it into RAM when the machine starts up.
