A1000 starts in a black/blank state

Hello all,

I have the latest WinUAE installed, and most ROMs are under the correct path as well. A500 starts just fine, but when I launch A1000, all I see is a black screen. What should I do?

this is my entry on the ROM section:
A1000 bootstrap ROM (64k) [252179-01/252180-01]

I know it A1000 you have to insert a bootstrap disk. Could you please refresh my memory?

Thanks!

The A1000 has no Kickstart in ROM. You require an A1000 Kickstart disk image to start the emulation.

Does it have to be in .ROM or .ADF?
Thanks a million!

A bootable Kickstart disk .ADF image contains a Kickstart ROM image and will load it into RAM when the machine starts up.
