Possibly BED, but you'd have to test it - I'm not sure.
It's a cool text editor. |

edword (on aminet) you must have your reason for not using CED but it works fine on 1.3

With my A500 I got a soft called Amiga Textcraft plus. It says"Required Operating System: v1.2 Kickstart"; "Required Hardware: AMIGA Computer (512k).

I only have CED 4.17 and it requires 020+ I would greatly accept any zone uploads for older CED versions
Thanks for all the suggestions, I will check them asap. |

Memacs looks unfriendly. My aunt will use it. She's 60+ and has never used a computer before. I set up an a500 for her, basically for Deluxe Paint but she also wants to type stuff.

I have something for you then.
It's Scribble!... A very simple word processor that will happily run in the A500.. its got all the basics a word processor could have, like centering, indentation, etc. Even a spellchecker! Came for free in Amiga Format issue 41, if you can't find that coverdisk I'll try to... fuck, I forgot I lost that disk!!! If anybody finds that coverdisk, I'd apreciate a link :P Another option would be to load it with Kindowrds 3 or PenPal, but those chug a bit more of memory and might need a second disk drive. Scribble! is a great choice! CygnusEd would not be userfriendly enough for your auntie. |
