Zak Mak Kracken protection
Can someone tell me in which file is the protection(seems to be not the main executable)?
I suppose it is the file "52.LFL" on Disk 2 but i am not 100% sure. Compared EXE from IPF and WHDLoad version it is the same and file "52.LFL" is also the same, where is the protection then? Is the crackpatch inside the file "ZakMcKracken.slave"(WHDLoad version) then? Last edited by mai; 09 October 2011 at 13:28. |

Yes. Most WHDLoad slaves make any required patches on the game files "on the fly", after loading them into memory to avoid the need for reinstalling the program in case something must be altered due an erroneous patch.

Thanks for info(by an WHDLoad slave author), anyway would be interesting if protection is really in file "LFL.52", it seems some TOSEC Disks are messed.
