Lords of the rising Sun

i recently downloaded "Lotrs" from the cinemaware-page, cause i played this game very often during my ancient amiga-times. Unfortunately i was never able to Win with Yoritomo, so i`am still keen on playin`.
loading the adf`s and runnin Winuae, i soon had to learn, that there are slight differences between the amiga and adf-version.
First: I can`t remember that i had to defend myself from ninja -attacks in a doorway, (on orig. Amiga, there was just a small message, i think)
second: thats why, i can`t play Yoritomo (dies to early in game)
third: I can`t find a way to save the game, but i`m not sure anymore if this was possible on real amiga..
so, how can i save, and get rid of the ninja-attacks..

ok, there is talk about an *ipf-image, but i can`t find it in the net..
a few minutes ago i loaded "lords of the rising sun"-on my real amiga, with original disks..obviously, the Main screen(Preserve History, Continue the fight, Launch a rebellion, restore History , End the rebellion) is missing in the adf`s..
Does someone own a fully workin`adf?
otherwise i have to create an adf by my own, but thats very complicating..
i might send you the printed serialnumber on the disks, if someone has a running adf, but is doubtin´ due to copyrights..

Send a message via ICQ to andreas Send a message via AIM to andreas
Well, this problem is indeed very old, and rather an intentional copy protection campaign from the authors than a configuration or emulator issue.

The only way out might be to use the WHD version.
