Bloody WinUAE, bloody ADFs, bloody Workbench...

I got the 1.44GB harddisk I ordered today but I'm having problems with it.
I've had to make a few partitions on it - there's a bad block on it meaning I can't format it in it's entirety. So far I've made a 250MB partition and left the rest unformatted, seeing that it took about 45 minutes to format it the first time, only to be given an error message 75% through.
I've just been trying to use the thing in UAE but it's not detecting it. It's mounting all the PC's own drives, though, even the removable CF card which is a surprise.

The other problem I'm having is with ClassicWB. For some reason it's not accepting my Workbench3.0 adf as a DOS disk. I was planning on using CWB to format the drive and copy the files over to it, but it looks like I'm going to have to do it incredibly slowly using the Amiga itself.

Well, it looks like I've managed to kill the harddisk. Something must have happened when I tried it in the PC. I'd see if I can get HDtoolbox to spot it again, but I really can't be arsed with it now. Roll on the CF adaptor.
