T-zerO game no sound ?!

Good evening everyone !

I installed the game T-zerO with WinUAE (config A1200 + HDD + Fast RAM = 8 Mo) but unfortunately when I launch the game, I have no sound ?!

I installed a patch here but that doesn't change anything, at the launch of the game I have this screen, the audio tracks are not recognized & I still have no sound:

How to proceed ? Thanks best regards !

You shouldn't need that patch as far as I remember.

Have you mounted the CD-ROM?

Also, have set the CD-ROM drive as follows for emulation?

No problem

BTW, you should really use a 68030 CPU for this game:

Also, you should download StingRay's cool trainer:

Finally, you'll need StingRay's "code protection" patch, unless you actually enjoy flicking through manuals mid game

Take a look at this thread: T-zer0 - game still has code protection, needs a crack...

Oh, one last important thing I forgot to mention when using StingRay's "code protection" patch...

As you have the CD mounted for audio; the game exe will run from CD-ROM due to the CD being named "T0", so the code protection patch on your hard drive doesn't get used

To get around this I had to start the game from a custom script that I made:

Code:
Assign Dismount T0: [which removes the automatically created "CD0: / T0" CD-ROM mount]
Assign T0: ""
DSD_T-Zero-Trainer
This basically dismounts the CD drive, assigns your current directory to "T0:", so the game then runs from hard drive and uses the patched file

Don't worry, the audio tracks are still picked up
