XAD commands

Did what you said and no script was working. I was expecting that since the xad script is working fine anywhere else but not on 3.1. So I decided to update the system a bit with some newer libs and classes. After that it worked fine . So maybe script execution in dopus under clean 3.1 with BetterWB seems dodgy!! After the update it works.

Hello there

Can someone tell me why these 2 buttons don't work for me in Dopus?

C:xadunfile {fu}{d} for extracting all sorts of archives in dopus (flags output window, recursive directories and rescan destination)
C:unrar e {O} {d} for extracting rar files. Flags (CD Source, output window, recursive directories and rescan destination)

Both of them are amigados commands. Other programs using XAD work fine like Voodoo X or Avalanche etc. I use 020 xad libraries.
I could swear that those buttons used to work fine. I tried in all my Amiga os (3.1, 3.1.4, 3.2.1) and both dopus 4.16 & 4.17.21 and now they both don't work. Unrar button outputs that there is nothing to extract and xad extract reports "processed nothing"

Any ideas?

Hi there Daxb. Will try that for XAD. Any ideas for the unrar command in dopus that doesn't work?

Commands "C:xadunfile {fu}{d} C:unrar e {O} {d}" work perfectly on my Dopus4.

Just a quick update. It works the way you described in your message. For some reason both unrar and xadunfile don't like the parameter {d} set as a destination. If you replace that with RAM: or anything else, they work fine. I was sure though it worked in the past. Anyway. Thanks a lot for helping

As said no problem, the parameter {d} works perfectly with xadunfile !

If I replace "DEST RAM:" with {d} it works for me. Check the temp files in RAM:T to see what goes wrong.

Yes i am trying to see what is going on because as i said, all this used to work for me as well. I wonder if the latest core update for my vampire has something to do with it. And i say this because what i described to you changed in all my installations and not only in one of them. Another strange thing is that {d} parameter works in my Amikit XE installation. Very strange. Anyway thanks a lot for your input both AmigaSystem and Daxb.

What does the option NOABS do?
