PAL/NTSC Highres Interlaced is a monitor driver with a screen resolution of 640 x 512 pixel (or similar) that gives an aspect ration of ~ 1:1. Your screenshot seems to be Lowres (PAL: 640 x 256) what is ~ 2:1. Therefore the stretched icons. Try some other monitor driver and chose one that you like. Alternative there exists icon sets with a special aspect ration like 2:1 to look good on such a screen resolution.

Loaded/activated monitors at boot time: SYS:Devs/Monitors
More monitors (double click on icon will activate them) you can find in SYS:Storage/Monitors. Some more on Aminet like HighGFX. For RTG there is P96 and Cybergraphics.

To chose/change them use SYS:Prefs/ScreenMode

As already mentioned by daxb; you need to copy them from "SYS:Storage/Monitors" --> "SYS: Devs/Monitors" and then reboot.

Now you launch "Prefs" --> "ScreenMode", select the desired resolution and "Save":

Get the file lha.run over to your Amiga (real or emulated). Put in say the "C" folder and run from a CLI:

Delete these:

... LhA.guide
... lha_68040
... lha_68k
... lha_68k.readme

Rename "lha_68020" --> "lha".

Now you have the ability to extract .LHA files on your Amiga

Use LHA to extract the archives you want but read the instructions for installation, as mentioned, in regards to "IconLib_46.4.lha" and "NewIcons46.lha".
Hello I followed this procedure to install LHA but when I launch the extraction with DOpus I get this error message ?!

I can't tell where you are extracting from / to in your screenshot.

Anyway, from the looks of things you haven't setup a LHA button in DirOpus so...

Look at this screenshot of DirOpus in a "ClassicWB 3.1 Lite", note the "LHA" button:

...but you are using emulation hey? If so, then you can use DirOpus to copy the contents from "mounted" .LHA archives. Just follow these instructions (written for WinUAE):
  • Load WinUAE and your configuration file.
  • Select "CD & Hard drives", click "Add Directory or Archive...", navigate to and double-click on the desired .LHA file.
  • Start emulation and load DirOpus.
  • On the left side, select "DH0:".
  • On the right side, select "DH1:" (which will be your mounted .LHA file).
  • Select all from "DH1:" and "Copy" across to "DH0:".

Hello yes I use WinUAE for emulation & I saw that it is possible to mount lha archives as hard drive

But I wanted to proceed like on a real Amiga but I don't know how to do it...
