Here is my current Flea Ohm setup. I know, not one of the best but it works. I need a new case and maybe a way to box all of them up neatly. Anyone else using this little thing? Show your setup if you can

I think I posted the before, but here is my setup.

Great news Robinson5 has got the software installed (Lattice did not need to make it so difficult!).

If an 020 + AGA wont fit then I wonder if just AGA + the 68000 will fit/work?

On the older MiST Minimig Core (~2018), I am sure the FleaOhm ran faster in SysInfo and from another thread (can't remember details) I sure there was a discussion on if AGA software actually needed/detected if a 020 was there.

Hey Higgy,

You did share that before and I still love it. Did you make this on your own? Mind sharing pictures of the inside?

Sorry for delay. Yep I built this myself. I will try and remember to take the lid off, inside is not pretty

@robinsonb5 (not sure how to 'tag') - did you manage to progress with the Lattice software? It would be great to get an updated Minimig Core, even if AGA is not achievable. Minimig has come along way since it was ported to the FleaOhm.
Cheers

I still have to build a case for mine but I quite lost interest since this platform has been basically abandoned
My "setup" looks pretty much like amigaman's, but it's unbuilt. In a box. Somewhere.

robinsonb, I wonder what you plan on bringing onto the Flea? looking forward, would really love to put this thing to good use. An up-to-date OCS core would be much appreciated already.
I think the main problem with this platform is that you cannot switch cores as easily as you do with a MiSTer.

Thanks for the reminders - I'll be honest, at any given moment I tend to have N projects and time for N/2 projects, and while I have been exploring Lattice chips it's been with the open source toolchain rather than Diamond. Which is all well and good, but the open source toolchain can't currently build Minimig.

I do have an icesugarpro which is quite similar to the flea, so if I can get the flea Minimig building successfully for that, then I can look at bringing across some improvements. I'd also like to get both boards supported by DeMiSTify, which would allow other MiST cores to be ported - but that might not be easy because of the DVI video - DVI's much fussier about video timings than plain old VGA.

Never heard of that one. Flea Ohm

They all use the same core base; right ? Minimig.

So they all have the same errors in the current starte, right ? Like Mist&Mister do.

For example:
Hybris > shows a black Roman Number I on the Top left /right behind the PL1 Score.

Batman Rises Demos > Music & Gfx slowdown in the Tunnel Sequence.

I ask because i do alot of testing for the minimig Core and already reported lots of errors;
some got fixed in the meantime

So, same Errors on Flea OHM too ?

Flea's Minimig Core is ~2017 so quite out of date with fixes. It does not have AGA/020.
You need to use a PC to change Cores. There is also a PC - Next128? Core, which was quite advanced when the Flea came out .
The FleaOhm was a crowdfunded project back in ~2017 so no longer available.

I have found my fleaFPGA ohm after a few years. I am thinking of putting it in a box.
I was looking at the setup read me to check the pinout. It does not mention which pin(s) are ground.

Can someone let me know please.

In all of the related setup docs I have written, signal grounds are indicated by the associated electrical symbol (downward pointing triangle). These are simply oriented sideways as drawn in the related GPIO header diagram in the Minimig setup guide.

In terms of supply and ground pin placement, FleaFPGA Ohm's GPIO header is identical to what you would find on a raspberry pi 40-pin header. Please refer to Appendix-A of my Quickstart Guide if you still have doubts. Cheers.
