Indie Retro News - AMIGA Game of The Year Award 2021 - VOTE NOW!

Quote:
With just over one month left for 2021 and something I've personally not done on Indie Retro News before, I thought it was about time I did an Indie Retro News game of the year award for the Amiga with the winner being announced at some point on Jan 1st 2022. Yes we may get some new Amiga games released in December but for the most part many of these games below will probably be the highlight for 2021. Below is just some of the games we've featured that are available in the list for YOU to vote for!
link removed due to poll not being secure and not all games bearing included. When you have fixed these issues let me know - BippyM

I've never done a Poll on IndieRetroNews before so this is a first! Depending on the game being won, I'll also add the original EAB discussion as well for the game. So people can see how far it's come from its original chit chat

Man, how did nobody come up with the name Turbo Tomato back in the day. It sells itself.

Tough choice...

Can't believe my Space Invaders has got 4 votes!

It's a difficult one but Tinyus has it for me and then Inviyya and I voted for Space Invaders as I thought no one else would.

These types of polls usually end up with one dishonest person selecting the winner through a proxy service.

They will get added if needs be, and people are allowed to change their vote but must stick with a max of 3

The list of games in the poll is shorter than this list (22 games instead of 35): didn't the missing games qualify or were they simply overlooked?

Some of those games were either unreleased and now found and recovered, a few were ports that required very high end Amiga's and not the original code from the dev, a couple were RE-RELEASED, a few were not featured on IRN (rare) or are still in beta. But thanks for the positive feedback, feel free to vote in this rather large poll of 22 games

Beautiful and fun initiative, congratulations!
For me:

1) INVIYYA
2) Bean Versus The Animator
3) IncaMan

I can't afford to check all the games, so I'll just talk about mine (which is why I noticed that some games were missing in first place): why are not ArtPazz and Follix included?
They:
* were released in 2021;
* are complete;
* are original games for unexpanded A1200;
* have been featured on IRN.
Make no mistake: I don't even remotely believe those games could win, but I find it unfair to exclude them, not only because of the points above, but also because they are appreciated by puzzle games lovers and are well done (and Follix, in particular, is technically advanced, rather original and provides tons of levels).

'Wrong Way Driver' certainly has the most varied gameplay.

it's a really good puzzler which I enjoy a lot

@Neil79: Maybe the voting poll can begin on the 1st of January 2022 (for 1 or 2 months) and take into account all the games that have been released until the 31th of December 2021 ?
