So my Mediator was acting up in my tower so I removed it and now I've sent off my 1D1 motherboard out to get it recapped as they're original &since i had to take apart my tower to remove my Mediator why not.
So can I still use my AT PSU as power was sent to the MB via the Mediator but now that it's gone I guess it can only power my drives etc and I'll have to power the MB with a separate PSU? I know there are some ATX adapters for newer PSU's but haven't seen any for the older AT ones. |

I’m sure you can find a pinout for that.
I was using this adapter years ago with one of my 1200’s. |

I backfed 5v & 12v via the floppy connector
and shoved the -12v (blue) wire into the center of the old square psu connector. |
