When I think of some of the Amiga things Ive thrown away over the years it makes me weep

A huge collection of magazines from 1990-95 including....
Amiga Power
CU Amiga
The One

C+VG
Amiga Format
Amiga Action

Loads of Joysticks which I coulda used as parts (my real Amiga is now joystickless)

Loads of original games just because I didnt have room to store them all.

For me it was the pile of Commodore User magazines that I sold with my C64 and the AGA incompatible Amiga games and Videomaster card with my A500. The things you do when you're young and silly!!!

A couple of computer magazines with C64/Amiga reviews. Only have 3 issues left. Found a couple though but they're all curled up from having been lying in a damp barn a couple of years (how did they end up there anyway? I didn't want to throw them away, at least my P.P. Hammer poster was intact and still usable)

If a friend lent me some disks for a copying session and I was short of disks I'd have to erase some old crappy games I didn't play.

But worse than that - if one of the games I was lent was a crack of a original I already had, I copied it onto the original disk as I liked the cracks with the trainers !

I'm sure that was the only part of game-copying that wasn't illegal though !

My mate used to work at WHSmith and at the end of every month I used to get about 3-400 disks from him that were ripped from the front of the magazines before they went back to the wholesalers

The main thing I regret selling was my trusy Amiga Action Replay Mk III

I also got rid of my amiga A1200 with 250meg GVP Hard Drive
and sound sampler to pay for driving lessons..

and all the Amiga magazines I sold / gave away at the boot fair

No, it was the one where you start off in a gaol cell, and there are goblins everywhere. At the end, you need to climb down a chimney of a cottage...

Anyway, you said it was really rare - so I really regret selling that one...

I've never thrown anything related to the Amiga I must say (Except for some game boxes, but I'm not into collecting games really)

However (my mother) threw away all of my Commodore Format magazines (including the first issue!) and my (broken) Commodore VIC-20! God, I regret that, but I was only 8 or 9 at the time... I'm so desperate to get one now! When will the drought end? I seem to find every other computer at a boot sale, except for a fucking VIC-20!!!

You're not from Peterborough (Cambs) are you BigByte ?

The reason I ask is that I had a friend who worked for WH Smith's depot in Peterborough who did the same thing for me !

I remember sitting there for hours peeling off all the labels !

I have a teacher who owns a working Vic-20, and I doubt he uses it for anything.

I may ask him if he wants to sell it.
