It's not designed to

I think it is designed for people with older pcs only, and has less exact emulation code to give faster speed but sacrificing compatibility. That’s why it has no caps support.

Toni will be able to give better info than me.

hmm.. removing non-A500 emulation features don't mean better A500 compatibility.

My main goal was easier source level configurability for porting to lower power/low memory systems, A500-only WinUAE was extra

I think there is a real need for this "mini A500"( downloading it as I type ).

Winuae is a "monster"emulator which has a focus on being the most complete and accurate but in doing so sacrifices speed and simplicity. It provides those of us who don't have a lot of space to put our old amiga on a desk with the possibility to have our favourite OS and setup right there on The ol' PC.

But there was also winfellow which brought us the needed speed and simplicity to just play A500 games when we wanted.
Since the development on winfellow seems to be halted completely ( very sad indeed) and they've fallen a long way behind winuae in terms of compatibility this little A500 thingy is very welcome.

Sure you hear it all the time but thanks again Tony for a wonderfull job.
