GBA v1.4 missing files
Edit by eLowar: This thread was created from off-topic posts in this thread: http://eab.abime.net/showthread.php?p=328640#post328640.
If it isn't officially released, then I guess I shouldn't mention that I'm missing the following 31 games after rescanning the 1.3 set and the complete current TOSEC set. (They're not in the Rare Games archive, either.) Edited: Sorry, dummy me, I scanned the wrong thing when I thought I scanned the new Rare Games archive. Now these are missing instead: Realms of Arkania - Blade of Destiny_Disk9 Schwarze Auge, Das - Die Schicksalsklinge_Disk9 Shadow of the Beast II_Disk1 Shadow of the Beast II_Disk2 Space 1889_Disk3 Treasures of the Savage Frontier_DiskD Last edited by eLowar; 24 May 2007 at 02:04. Oh it is officially released (more or less), I just haven't properly announced it on EAB yet because there were still some minor issues I wanted to figure out.
This is one of them. Let me have a look at the list and get back to you. |

Yeah there were some updated files which I hadn't added to the Rare Games Update pack yet. I'm uploading a changed version including those files right now. Sorry, you'll have to download the whole thing again.
Edit 1: or come onto irc with a proper irc client, most of what you are missing now are around the 20k range. Edit 2: The file is up now, too. Edit 3: Okay, okay, I've put your missing files in the Zone. Last edited by eLowar; 24 May 2007 at 01:29. Reason: copied Belgarath's "edit" to my post as an actual edit to confuse people :) |

I have no clue how it happened, but somehow this ended up in the complete screenshot pack, but not in the update one. I've attached the missing files to this post and I'll upload the changed screenshot pack in a bit (uploading the complete rare games pack right now).
Thanks for the report. Edit: Fixed screenshot pack is up now. Last edited by eLowar; 24 May 2007 at 02:26. |

Thanks for the images. Maybe it would be worthwhile to generate dats for the screenshots and other files as well?

I don't know. The main point of the dats for GBA is to allow the users to use their own files and not having to download them all. That won't work with most of the non-game files though, because nobody's going to have screenshots with the same checksums.

Hi and thanks for the release, especially for the WHDLoad function.
I missed 2 games : Mixed-Up Mother Goose_Disk1 and Ultimate Quiz, The. They are not in rare games ... in which pack are they or are they really missing ? |

Those were already in a previous release. I'm not sure which or if they were included in one of the previous games packs (I don't have the big games packs I created a while back locally anymore, so I can't check if they were in them).
I've put the missing files in The Zone! for you, though. |

WRT GameBase Amiga SPS Fills (Complete V1.4);
After verifying available files I noticed the following file was missing - I believe it is an SPS fill - could you please advise if this is a fill file. If so then it is missing from the SPS fill pack. SPS\2401\2596_Monkey Island 2 - Lechucks's Revenge (Fr)_disk0.zip thanks |

Hmm, that was already in 1.3 (and possibly earlier), I'm not sure how I left it out of this pack. Thanks for the report, I'll fix it as soon as possible.
I've attached it to this post, so you can have it right now. I think this is just another copy of the generic boot disk many of the games in GBAmiga use. Note to moderators: This is an ADF. |

You're right, it is a fill file, although if you use the sps dat you'll find you already have it, it's just a basic bootup disk which is used many times but all with different names for the games that need em.
