demo : Closer / CNCD

i didn't succeed to run this demo on WinUAE, i only get a black screen or a guru

Does anybody know how to make this demo running under emulation ?

Thanks for the quick answer !

i've a correct assign.

Strangely sometimes i get a blackscreen, sometimes the logo CNCD with the music in background and it's stuck at this position, if i click on LMB i got some memory display but no quit.

Do you have VBR in fastram? If so try setting it to $0, might be that Closer doesn't work with VBR in fast.

ok i tried with VBR to chip and to fast, it doesn't change anything. I also tried botting without startup without success neither

I'm stuck at the CNCD logo !

Hmm, weird. I watched it some days ago in WinUAE and it worked flawlessly. Maybe you have a damaged version? Try this version from amigascne.org, it works fine.

it's the same version i've except on mine Closer_fix was packed with Crunch (CRUa)

and so it don't work

do you use any special config to run it ?

well anyway off to bed...

No special config needed, I just used my normal one, 68040/2MB/64MB/AGA and it works fine. Try decrunching the .exe, dunno if Cru flushes caches or not, if it doesn't, it's the reason for your problems!

ok i do a quick 68040/2MB/64MB/AGA config and the demo seems to works, except some minor flicker... strange... but cool
