No, I have 4 exe versions, and ALL of them have the horizontal line (unless you run it in ECS mode) + the corrupt water bug reported by Ross

On AGA machines the new features can be only partially disabled. If you badly bang the hardware a proper patch is needed.
But hexaae certainly wanted to say on 'ECS emulation'.

Anyway.. where can I find these 4 versions? (I know only two)

What's this, ross? You're also fixing bugs in games released decades ago? You are a busy man, aren't you?

Thanks.
I'm curious to understand how they differ.

But do they all come from official releases?

Ok, all clear, I had forgotten that I had 3 versions too...
In your archive 2 files are identical (only a change in HUNKs type, propably due to a different decompressor, but binary identical)
and it's the oldest version, probably used in a pre-release provided to a magazines and leaked and spread.
Then there is the version contained in SPS845 (a public release).
And then the last revised release (on which I worked) which is an upgrade to the SPS845 (containing compatibility patches).
So all right, nothing new.

Hmmm, is your fixed version already released? It is one of the best games ever made.

Could someone with real A1200 or A500 HW test the recent beta slave?
http://mantis.whdload.de/view.php?id=4181

WinUAE seems NOT to suffer an annoying water flickering glitch introduced with recent water fix attempt... but I can't test this on real hardware.

Problem confirmed on real A1200 here. No issues with previous 2.2 release.

Here is my video

Glitch also present on A600 so it’s not AGA exclusive.

b & c working fine so far.
Have to check later levels, though!

2.3d was a first attempt to fix this water glitch in the original game: http://eab.abime.net/showpost.php?p=...5&postcount=29
Works fine on WinUAE, but not on real HW.

Never noticed this water glitch.
Anyway, the other beta slaves work great on real hardware!

Great job.

It's an original game bug. Visible only on first stage when there are no background sprites (trees, platfroms) behind, just water on the right border.
