Jesus loves acid or something?
Trying to find an old demo, think it was called Jesus loves acid or acid house or something along those lines. All I can remember it had a lot of smiley faces in it.

Definately not Jesus on Cheese and Acid Trip looks too late. I'm sure we had this demo around 89-90, 91 the latest.

Nope, neither of those, I have also had a look through amigascene.org and can rule out the following:
NAPALM-Acid MD-AcidTrip MANIACS-AcidSolution INTUITIONACID-DEMO IRONGODS-RealAcid BOUNTY-AcidDemo TSL-AcidHouse Now thinking about it, the first screen of the demo started on the DOS screen and the "acid smileys" invaded that then it played out similar to one of the demos above, cant remember which one but had the epileptic flash screens of logos etc, I am pretty sure the song playing might have had the sample: Jesus loves acid. Perhaps more of a music disk than a demo with only one track... |

@THB
The person to ask about this is Dazzaboy over at OldSkoolUK, he is really into the old Miggy demo scene and he is bound to know what it is. There are also loads of packs of old Miggy stuff to download on there. http://z10.invisionfree.com/Old_Skool_UK Merlin |

Thanks MajicMushroom, that looks like the one, I vaguely remember all 3 so I must have had that compilation although I remember the menu being a little different.
Nostalgia is a funny thing... those demos were terrible. Very nice site btw. |

Soz guys, I haven't been around these parts for a while.
@THB: Glad you finally found the demo in question If you are interested in mass leeching any of Majic M's demo packs, we also have a mirror of his stuff over at oSuK in our Amgia file archive - http://z10.invisionfree.com/Old_Skoo...showtopic=1248 Enjoy! BTW.. I loved all those ravey, strobey, fast bpm demos. Simple but effective! Just wanted to add that lol Last edited by DaZZaBoY; 19 July 2008 at 13:19. Reason: Rave demos roOl |
