Double click .adf = crash?
I've checked the file asscoiations and they point to Winuae, they were check and set inside Winuae but all that happens on my Windows 7 X64 is I get a message box saying Winuae has stopped working and do I want to search online for a soloution.
I ran a few searches on here about it but I can't see any threads saying it's not working at the moment. It crashes Winuae instantly perhaps even before it's started as there are no crashdumps and the boot log was not updated since I ran it this morning so it's not had a chance to even get that far. That leads me to suspect that it's Windows 7 refusing to run Winuae that way although running Winuae happily if started normally and the adf's I've tried are all fine.. It's the latest beta (17), I can't give logs as it's not getting that far, the error box lists this Problem signature: Problem Event Name: APPCRASH Application Name: winuae.exe Application Version: 2.1.0.0 Application Timestamp: 4b9cc2a3 Fault Module Name: StackHash_b325 Fault Module Version: 6.1.7600.16385 Fault Module Timestamp: 4a5bdb3b Exception Code: c0000374 Exception Offset: 000cdcbb OS Version: 6.1.7600.2.0.0.256.1 Locale ID: 2057 Additional Information 1: b325 Additional Information 2: b3259a4110e3c7809fb1d1ca91e44547 Additional Information 3: 8233 Additional Information 4: 8233e5dc39a1cd2549b26b03afcf796a Read our privacy statement online: http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?link...8&clcid=0x0409 If the online privacy statement is not available, please read our privacy statement offline: C:\Windows\system32\en-US\erofflps.txt Just wondered if other Win 7 users have the same issue and know a fix, if not then I'll live, Winuae as itself still works very happily, just not as a file association launch. |

Same here on Vista 32-bit with WinUAE 2.1.0 beta 17 (almost the same crash log). Doesn't happen with the stable 2.0.1.
Edit : Last working beta is 10. Last edited by TCD; 17 March 2010 at 16:13. |

I can't duplicate (32bit or 64bit Win7). Attach dump file, please.

Does http://www.winuae.net/files/b/winuae.zip work? (This bug was introduced in 2.0.0 but it only "randonly" causes crashes)
