Update - I just received email from Vesalia regarding my order. But it was time stamped to 2006, so it had gone right to the bottom of my inbox. Might be worth checking if this has happened to you guys, I asked them to set the clock right

I ordered the Delfina Flipper from Vesalia back in the space year 2000. It's been 12 years and I still haven't heard from them...

Wrote to vesalia, they ignored me. I will wait a bit more and if they don't ship my item, I will start a payment reversal process on paypal. It's REALLY annoying. :|

Puuh, more patience please. Even within Germany a package could take 6-7 days to arrive.

You were right =) Got my package today.
So the lesson here is that, if you have a problem with them, call. They do not read the info address. |

Veselia is one of the oldest longest standing Amiga dealers and are VERY reliable. We are lucky to have them.

I've never had a problem with Vesalia. My 1231/42 took about 2.5 weeks to arrive in Australia, which is pretty good as DHL/deutsche post can be very slow.

Blame the customs. If everything goes smooth you can receive packages from Hong Kong to Germany within 5 days (e.g. my Everdrive MD flashcart).

Eventually all of my orders got shipped out: I had to keep emailing them. They don't reply but apparently do read them... sometimes.
Anyway, it does take a long time for them to ship the items out (3+ weeks in my case), this is without counting the delivery time. It takes about 7-10 days for the items to arrive to Canada once they are shipped out, which is not bad. |

3 weeks lead time is rather silly... i'm also tired of amiga users/customers making excuses for amiga companies (e.g. blame it on customs)
Amiga companies are just as accountable to serve their customers as any other exsisting company. So set the fanboyism aside and do real business please. (e.g when you have problem with a new product dont come to forums for help first contact the vendor. THats the POINT of having Dealers) |

What i'm referring to is not ACTUAL customs slowness but fanboys making excused for amiga companies slow shipments. |

And as far as fan boys are, we are all fan boys, if not we don't even would be lurking here. Fortunately I had no woes with Vesalia, never bought from them. Nonetheless I hope they stay in business so everyone can have another source to buy all the gadgets they need for their Amigas. |

@Topic It's quite pointless to mourn here. Vesalia don't read here. Use the damn phone, if nothing helps. Last edited by Retro-Nerd; 25 May 2012 at 01:45. |

You won't get Vesalia to respond, but you will let others who might be considering using Vesalia know what they might expect. Then they can decide if they are OK with that, or would rather go with someone else.. desiv |

A "warning thread" for a company that is 25 years in Amiga business, based on a few "bad" experiences? If you think so. This thread (especially the topic name) is more damaging to one's reputation than helpful.
