Lemonamiga is randomly up and down at the moment, so I'm sorry to bring this discussion up here as well.
Is it already settled how Winter Games would work in this compo? Mihcael was talking about how it might work, but nobody confirmed that this will be the way we'll play it. I still remember the unnecessarily crippled Summer Games II competition and I won't vote for a Winter Games competition including just the timed events. |

I dont recall being around for Summer games and the issues that came with it.
But i can ensure you that the scoring system will not compromise the competition again like it seems it did on that occasion. It doesn't look like it is going to get up this time, but i will be working on a solution ready for if it does in the future. |

Not telling! No hints are revealed until the voting actually ends. Nothing stopping anyone counting the votes up themselves if they're curious though (well, apart from Lemon not being accessible at the moment, of course).
All I'll say is that it is very close and the lead has changed hands several times just over the last couple of days. And one or two more votes can still completely swing it. |

I certainly wasn't kidding when I said this vote was close. It doesn't get an awful lot closer than this.
1. Prince of Persia - 21 2. R-Type - 21 3. Naughty Ones - 18 4. Zeewolf 2 - 17 5. Rodland - 16 Total votes: 20 - Total games voted for: 51 Prince of Persia nicks it by virtue of gaining one more first place vote than R-Type. Just a reminder that there will be no double voting power allocated to the winner of Slam Tilt - instead the winning player will get a free choice for the second game. So over the next week if potential winners (i.e. anyone in the lead or who takes the lead at any point) can state what game they'd like to play, that would be most useful. |

I genuinely had no idea what the state of voting was when I posted and didn't realise my vote would swing it. Still, I have thought that it would be a very interesting game to have in the comp (I've never actually played it).

Dang the top 5 were really close here, a double vote round could have swung it to any of those games!
I've been hoping to see PoP for a while now as I've never played any of the games in the series, plus it's about time we got a Speedrun round that wasn't a racing game ☺ |

In one of my posts of this thread are the level entry screens, so the mods can easily compare the level:
http://eab.abime.net/showthread.php?t=63665 Here again the proposal how to play: When you enter a level, move your character a bit (so the screenshots are all different), press space bar to display the time and then make a screenshot. Submit it, and write the time to it. Score is level*10000 + time-minutes*100 + time-seconds. (Time-seconds are only available when the game was completed.) Game completion counts as level 13.
