Problem with ematscsi.device - maybe hardware limitation?
Hello,
I have a problem with my Typhoon card especially with the SCSI part. First I created a boot partition with 300 MB. Next I added another partition with 1500 MB. Both partitions formated with SFS are accessable. Now, when I try to add another partiton nothings happen. No icon or something else. When I try to format this partition with hdinsttools I got the error message: "Format failed: Could not find any object." I am not sure but is it possible that there is hardware limitation for the SCSI disk size? All above 2 GB will ignored by the controler. Any hints or maybe are there pateches available? |

Try PFS3 direct scsi version (PFS3DS) from Aminet.
It should work if driver isn't totally braindead. |
