SNES9x for the Mac

I've been revisiting some old SNES classics using SNES9x, but can't get the mouse working. The advice on the official support forums is to select 'enable mouse', calibrate the buttons via the controllers menu and then repeatedly press 7 during the game to switch from keyboard control to the rodent. This doesn't work for me at all, maybe because they're referring to the PC version of the emulator.

The only game I've tried this with so far is Lemmings 1.1. Was it even possible to use the mouse in the original SNES game? If not that'll be why it won't work now.

afaik the mouse was only for mario paint.

That's a shame since some of the best games I'd consider impossible to play properly with a joypad or the keyboard. I won't be bothering with the SNES version of Lemmings then. Good to know it's not just me being stupid anyway, thanks.

You might like the NES version. It is really well done, and has great graphics.
