Clone real Amiga HDs for use in WinUAE
Hi,
Sorry I know this must have been asked many times before but could not find anything recent. I have 2x 2.5" disks. One of 170MB and one of ~340MB. I have ordered a 2.5" adapter so I can hook them to the IDE connector of a PC. What is the best way to clone the two disks so that I can make a HDF image of each? Thanks! |

You can make an image in WinUAE once the HD is mounted :

Thanks both. I like the 2nd option better :-) Didn't realise it would be that simple

Today I managed to image both disks from within WinUAE! The only issue I faced was that the old 170MB Seagate disk prevented Windows booting on the PC I was using... so I tried on an older PC and it worked fine.
