I have myself used Amiga Forever since 2009 version and up to 2012r4 version, but i will wait a bit before i upgrade to the new 2013 version. It's a nice idea they have, but I agree that the price is a bit high. (Remember what you get for that price; legal Kickstart ROMs, Workbench disk's, old picture's and video's not found elsewhere). You can also find their new C64 Forever 2013 version interesting if you are interested in a full working C64 package for the first time.

I believe upgrades are free, however follow the guide on the website. I think essentially you do it over your existing install rather than a fresh install (because your existing key will not work in the latter).
