XetecCDFS doesn't work!

I tried the version 1 on my A2000 WB1.3 and it says I am using an illegal disk and won't let me save! What gives? I am trying V2 now...

It does that in version 2 as well, but after clicking whatever it wants you to click it just keeps on going.

Well I tried the V2 and it works, it still nagged about being a copy but went ahead and pressed on with the install. I finally have a working CD-ROM on my WB1.3 Amiga!!!

It seems to be working ok except my 2000 will not read CDR's burned with Joilet. Is that a limitation with CDx?

XetecCDFS works great

using it to play CDTV games on my A500 in wb1.3

will burn off a Joiliet and report back.

This is my Amiga 2000 Rev 4.3 with a CD-ROM under Workbench 1.3! This drive seems to match pretty well with the Amiga 2000 beige color. Works a treat under Workbench 1.3 too!

Hey TJ, what is the make and model of your CD Rom drive? It does match pretty good.

I just bought an Amiga 2000HD tonight for only $35.00. It is in near-mint condition and has the rare revision 6.3 motherboard. Most of the newer Amiga 2000 motherboards are revision 6.2. So now I have five Amiga 2000 computers. OH WHAT A HAPPY DAY !!!!

Why does WHDload don't work? Ah, KS1.3... If you have a bunch of RAM you could always softkick into 2.0! That should do the trick

Akira is right about that. You could also just use a hex editor and do a search for "df0" and change to "dh0". Then save the file. Make sure that it is a backup of the original disk. I did this back in the late '80s to early '90s to get games and other software to work with a hard drive. Sometimes it would take all night to convert one program to a "hard disk" version, because the hex editor would find the phrase "df0" hundreds of times and I would have to change each one. But it was worth it in the end.
