Gotek - boot to adf selector
Hi all
I received and installed my Gotek drive over the weekend and have encountered an issue which I am sure can easily be resolved... After copying the adf selector and a selection of games to a USB drive, I started my 1200 and it booted to the selection screen - as expected. I then assigned Beast disk 1 to 000 and Beast disk 2 to 001...restarted the machine and it proceeded to load the game (except that it didn't actually work...just a mess of graphics). When I then restarted the machine, it attempted to load Beast again...when I removed the USB drive, same issue. So my question is, how do I return back to the adf selector menu? |

Insert disk 000 and you should get the selector.

Will that work as I have assigned Beast disk 1 to 000?

Ah, sorry I didn't notice you said that. Copy the stock selector back and don't overwrite slot 0? :-)

You mean I have overwritten the adf selector on the USB drive by assigning a gane disk to 000?

Well, not totally overwritten, but afaik the slot assignments are saved to the selector adf. I may be mistaken when talking about the HxC selector, this definitely is how the cortex selector worked.
