Hi all!

Hi!

I am new to this forum but I am not new to the Amiga.

Recently I decided to pull my good old Amiga 4000 out of the cabinet and since then I am kind of re-infected with Amiga.

Used Amiga until about 2003 as my primary computer. Since then most of my Amiga experience was in form of emulation.

Here and there I checked if the Hardware is still working but never hat a good place to actually use it at home.

Picture is showing my Amiga while editing this post

Very nice to have an ftp server on the Amiga and being able to upload a photo directly from the mobile phone to the Ram Disk for posting here

Welcome. Your Amiga looks to be in good condition. What did you use your Amiga for back in the day?

Blood in face.... My god Brainstorming is already almost 30 years old.

Welcome. Be sure to check and remove the battery. It will most likely be leaking (or in the near future). And you should seriously consider having your A4000 recapped.

This album caused me to use this nickname since I am online with my amiga. I needed a nickname and the CD was laying directly in front of me in front of my amiga

Battery was removed about 20 years ago and recapping is on the to do list. Can't do it myself and have to find someone for this.

Mostly creative stuff. Music in trackers, some 3d rendering, some graphics editing and stuff like this. Fiddling around with the Workbench was also a big thing. Writing Arexx scripts and personalising everything. And of course games in the earlier Amiga 500 times

Welcome!
(For me is also interesting to read "yelworC" - It's Dark Electro.
Maybe we listen the same music?)

I listen to many styles of music. Mostly Metal and everything that fits into the "Gothic scene". That includes EBM and electronic stuff like yelworC
