Shit Game Time: Knuckle Busters (C64), pointless crap game.

Hi all, this Friday's edition of "Shit Game Time" game review features one of the most pointless games I've ever played on the C64, Knuckle Busters

This is a paid request by youtuber "William Harrison" who wants me to expose this crap and flush it down into the vault of shitness,...and I'm very happy too!

Strange.

Technically it's competent, with smooth scrolling, clear imagery and good animation. But it's way too fast, all the characters move at exactly the same speed which is silly, and the enemies respawn continuously making the game unplayable. It's like the programmer was so pleased with the technicals that he completely forgot about gameplay.

It is appropriately named though - you'll bust your knuckles beating up those guys!

I see resemblances with the Knuckle Joe Arcade, maybe a clone that does not want to look like a clone?

First of all, I just LOVE that your arm muscles grow like two times in size depending on the animation. You're secretly playing as Popeye.

This gives me 2D Last Ninja vibes :/ At least in Last Ninja you can avoid most of the pointless trading blows-fights, this is just ridiculous.

Eh. Nice fast scrolling I guess?
