UAE-CONFIGURATION (LoadState and SaveState)
Hi. I wanted to ask about a certain thing, and I guess mainly this question is directed to Toni. Specifically, I am referring to saving and loading states in WinUAE. I know that to load the state from the command line it is enough to add
-cfgparam statefile=<path to .uss> But I mean saving and loading state from AmigaOS level using UAE-Configuration command. Because my system has some patches, it takes a long time to load and I would like to speed it up. I found something like this on Aminet https://aminet.net/package/util/boot/FastBootV1_0 but it doesn't work properly. So I thought to use for this purpose WinUAE's ability to load and save state. For example in the startup-sequence I would add something like this at the beginning: CheckLMB IF WARN UAE-CONFIGURATION loadstate mystate.uss ENDCLI ENDIF However, to save the state when AmigaOS is running, I would use a similar syntax UAE-CONFIGURATION savestate mystate.uss Someone will probably say that this is possible, but with a GUI. Yes, I know, but for some reason the F12 key and many others are disabled in my case. |

I already know that to load the previously saved state using the GUI, just enter in the CLI:
UAE-CONFIGURATION statefile mystate.uss But how to save it in advance from CLI? |
