Using the scsi with a 50pin scsi drive netted around 3.2MB/s
Using a acard 7720U with CF card attained around 3.5MB/s
Using Ultrawide 10K rpm drive on scsi with 50 pin adapter was 3.2MB/s

Which program did you uae to test the speed? Zorro II bus bandwidth is ~3.58MB/s.

sysinfo is what was used.
rscp seemed to give results that were close also.
