I like these medieval strategy games. HOL listed an English version too, is there really one?

I have the extended ADF's of the German version, if somebody is interested.

I was afraid something like that could happen, even if's it's running fine here in WinUAE.

Edit: Oops, i've overlooked the same request from "derLegoMann", are his WWarp files error free?

Hi!

The WWarp Files came from the Original Kaiser Disks. I don't know if they are ok.

The WWarp files:

www.legomann.lightage.de/download/KaiserWWP.lzh

The files are packed on an Amiga with lha.

I look where my original ADFs are.
The Game can't be copy to HD, but you can play them from Floppy.

Hi!

So here are the Images:

The Game can`t be copy back to floppy-Disk because of the Copy-Protection from Disk 1.

The Game only runs with WinUAE. In the Cracked Version there is no Disk-Change Screen and you must press Space to Continue.

This is an Image from my Original Kaiser Disks:

@Stingray

You are working on a patch? Are derLegoMann's WWarp files ok, or do you use another original?

Yes, I'm working on a patch. I am working with my very own disks as I'm proud owner of an original of this game.

Ah, I know those, but yes JOTD is right, there is a checksum error - two even

The errors are on Bilder/Bild7 and Bilder/Bild8, blocks 95 (track 8) and 101 (track 9).

As this is only picture data, it should be fixable by looking up an identical block from the Tristar version...
(in case someone asks, no, I am *NOT* going to simply falsify the checksum by my disk editor so that it appears "correct"! I'm going to check the entire block(s), bit by bit, if at all)

[edit] SUCCESS!

Disk-edited version of LegoMann's Disk 1 (extended ADF) is the zone
To be sure all work on the image was done correctly, I rechecked Bild7 and Bild8 files against Tristar crack version by copying both single files to HD and binary-comparing it. Both were identical.

ok, keep us posted

Of course you won't notice any flaws until you've played the game to a point that the picture is NEEDED! I know LegoMann told about having completed the game, so he must have been VERY lucky to have skipped both pic 7 and 8 somehow!

Hi!

Thanks for the Edited Disk Version.

Have you tried out this Edited Version? When it works, I'll copy it back to my original.

I had completed the game many many times, but i don't get an error.

I know it's in the zone, but only for a few days:

Do you have a save state which should display the pics 7 & 8? I don't want to play this game intensively, not until the WHDLoad patch is done.

Well if I only knew where you need those, then life would be lots easier!
I've never played it as far as LegoMann, since Kaiser needs a hell of instructions to understand what you're supposed to do in the game. Sorry.

@LegoMann: I'm afraid that you cannot copy this EXTENDED ADF to your disk, sorry.
Only 880K ADFs can be copied - your disk 1 contains additional MFM information, which is mandatory for the game to work. (from memory, most important is Track 0 back side - blocks 11-20, this appears to be the protection (?))

But Stingray may tell us, as he has the one blessing more: he even understands what the code does!
So he might be able to tell us when pics 7 and 8 are loaded.

@Stingray

Any chances that you put patches for Vermeer and Hanse (the classic) on your "big" list too?
