Wizardry 6 Bane of the Cosmic Forge save game

Hi All,
I am trying to play Wizardry 6 from the hard disk, but it doesn't want to save the game. Whenever I try and save the game it flickers the screen continously and does nothing. I am using WinUAE 1.2 and WHDload 16.6

Does anyone have any suggestions, or know what I am doing wrong? I am using the v1.2 Wizardry Install script to install the game.

Details:

Running on Windows XP
Wizardry6 Install script v1.2
WinUAE v1.2.0 (32bit)
WHDload v16.6

The game runs problem free for me, but I do have to turn off JIT.

Hi Stein,
It does run for me too, but it doesn't save. Does your's save to the hard disk? Are you playing it from the Hard disk?

I'll try the JIT thing, but I don't see this as the issue as the install scripts are written to take advantage of the better amigas.
