No boot from IDE devices (CF and SD adapter)

Hi guys,

I did notice today that when I try to use a SD adapter or CF adapter, there is no boot on either. The HDD light on my 1200 stay off; and it boot directly like if there is no IDE connection at all.

I have tried both cards on a different Amiga and on WinUAE and they both works fine, so can't be the cable, nor the adapter nor the SD or CF card.

What would cause the 1200 to just ignore IDE?

Do the drives appear in the early boot menu if you hold down both buttons?

Did you use diskpart on windows to clean the existing partitions on those device first?
Sometime both windows or mac os x leave some hidden crud that interact in how the Amiga access those device.

Also make sure you plugged the cable or device the right way. The red wire on the cable goes to pin 0.

Yep, The disk works just fine on my other amiga; same cable, same adapter, same card; as mentioned in the original post. Can be sure 100% that the issue is not on the card, adapter or cable; and that's why I am stuck because I do not know what to check next.

The capacitors are fine; I see no leak and no sign of broken traces (this board has been recapped last year, but never used with a IDE device, just using floppies)
