GFX cards

Hi Guys,

I see a that 3DFX GFX cards can now be used on a A4000, what do I need to do to use one on my A4000D, I have Flicker fixer but apart from that its a standard 4000D with the flickermagic installed.
Can you use other GFX cards or just 3DFX ones, any help would be great in laymans terms of course.

You will need a PCI busboard. The ones which should work with a Voodoo graphics card are:
-Prometheus by Matay
-G-Rexx by DCE
-Mediator by Elbox
Of course, you should always check you are geting an A4000 version of this pci busboards. Many of them can use other kinds of graphic cards too. They also have support for other types of pci cards, such as ethernet, sound ect.
Mediator busboards are the only ones which can be bought new, all others are available as second hand.

First you need a replacement busboard with PCI slots and a bridgeboard which activates the PCI slots.

i`ll wait to see if i can drop on a GFX card for the Amiga...
