FS-UAE on OSX Yosemite + Amiga 4000/OS 3.9 - No Autoloading of Datatypes.

Good Afternoon,

I'm seeing an issue with the latest stable build of FS-UAE for OS X where datatypes are not automatically being loaded by Amiga OS 3.9, running under an Amiga 4000/Kickstart 3.1. As a result, no images and backdrops can be loaded. I've confirmed that the datatypes.library and all relevant data types are present in their respective locations. Also, user-startup has the line to load datatypes.

Anyone else have this issue? Any help is greatly appreciated.

This looks like the issue I had, if I installed AmigaOS 3.9 with FS-UAE internal CDROM driver. I thought this error was fixed :-O

Issue resolved

Figured out what the problem was. Apparently, for whatever reason the default tooltypes of the xxx.info (where xxx = specific datatype, e.g. JPEG, GIF, ANIM, etc.) in DEVS:datatypes had "addDataType" set and were not being executed. So I modified it so that the absolute path of where addDataType lives (in SYS:C:addDataType).

Lo and Behold the line in s:user-startup that refreshes datatypes on boot is now properly invoking all of the data type definitions and all images and backdrops magically appear.

All is well in the House of Amiga!
