A600 audio cinch connector

On my A600 one of audio cinch connector is broken and desoldered form motherboard. I can't make any pictures, I gave Amiga to more professional soldering hand (I never tried SMD soldering, nor I have equipment).
Is it some special cinch connector or I can use normal ones that can be found on DVD players of today? This guy thinks that it's some sort of switching connector - dunno I haven't looked at it so careful.

HUH????

The audio connectors are at the back and are called RCA (or phono). Need a pic to confirm exactly what your on about.

EDIT:- Look at Big Book Of Amiga site. You will find nice pics of the A600 Motherboard.

Im guessing your talking about RCA (they are also called phono). It shouldnt be a problem resoldering them, or replacing them.

The only problem is, standard DVD phonos, will proberly have only 2 pins, instead of 3 pins, like the amiga.

@ Akira, he is talking about it having 3 pins, for the mixing of audio. If you pullout 1 phono, it will transfer the missing channels to the 1 phono that is still connected.

EDIT:- Right, was thinking about this, the 2 pins that go to the centre are connected together once the phono lead is connected. Now you could use a standard connector, and short the connected centre pin to the other empty pin (where the pin would be) if using a connector from a DVD etc etc. This should work fine.

Sorry for double post.

Right, dont try what I said. Been looking more into how this connector works. Using standard phono connectors and then shorting the center connections, will cause the audio output circuit to constantly try to mix the channels.

You will need the proper connectors.
