Ctrl + Function Keys no longer working in 2.4.0+?
Hi,
I recently been working on a piece of amiga software and have been trapping Ctrl-F1 through to Ctrl-F5. I was previously developing on WinUAE 2.3.0 and have recently moved to 2.4.0. This is when I found that this control combination is no longer working. I have tested Ctrl and other keys (e.g. Ctrl-Arrow Up / Ctrl-Del) and these work fine. I have also tested the F keys alone and they seem to be working fine too. I have tested this on 2.4.0 and 2.4.2 and both fail to work. The most recent working version is 2.3.3. Thanks. EDIT: On further testing it seems that F6 - F10 are working fine in combination with Ctrl, it is just F1 - F5 which are not. EDIT: For further info, I'm trapping the keys using GetMsg() where the message.class is IDCMP_RAWKEY message.code is $50 > $54 Last edited by killergorilla; 19 September 2012 at 23:06. |

Did you test latest beta? I don't see anything wrong, both keycodes (ctrl and f1) are transmitted as expected.

I did test the latest beta yes, it still doesn't work.
You are correct, Ctrl and F1 are both being transmitted on their own. But when I hold down the Ctrl key, then press F1 then I don't receive the keycode for F1. |

You sure you don't have some weird keymap or some other utility?
From hardware point of view everything works as expected. |

Actually I didn't have the very latest beta, will take a look.
EDIT: Just checked 2.5.0 Beta 17 and it is indeed fixed. Thanks for your quick response, sorry to waste your time! |
