Smile Read receipt...make it an option, please!

Yes.

I can't find this amongst the options in my User Profile, but I want this turned off if possible.
Currently, I always need to switch it off manually with ANY PM I write.
Life could be a little easier, couldn't it.

Edited it because I talked a load of bollocks I'm an ass :P

Just checked out what you mean. I always had it checked, but it doesn't bother me one bit. I never receive notifications about message receptions anyway. Perhaps you should turn off email notifications?

Less likely, more likely you had exclaimed "BAH, THAT'S PIE EASY, THIS GUY CAN'T READ!", then thought it's plain simple, but isn't. Mind you, it's not just you who thinks this from time to time, but come a cropper in no time.
Well, there has to be be a damn reason, why I ask for such trivial things, hasn't there.

Here we go again. You sholuld not take for granted stuff that you don't know about.

What I edited is that I wrote how to turn off message email notification, instead of message read receipt notification, I got confused.

Stop assuming things that are NOT true.

LOL ... you're simply amusing!
I simply pointed out that you're definitely not the only one to misread things (me included), and you get worked up in no time. Next time I'm gonna make a bet before - I could get real rich!
Well, chill man.

Ah btw...the "less likely" was supposed to point out that I think you're NOT an ass. Which, read carefully, is POSITIVE.
Whohooooooooooo! Shock and Horror!

(mind you, it was indeed a negative test [expecting a negative result] and you passed it with flying colors)
