Otherwise it's time to get one going
It would be particularly helpful if the list included naming conventions since some games require very specific naming. If we are making lists: Space Crusade - Each team uses their own save file and could be loaded from a separate save disk. |

Project X needed an entire 880k disk devoted purely to it to save the High Score table, which was barely 1k in size. That annoyed me - though it was better than having to save games and scores to an unbackupable original disk, my Jimmy White's Snooker disk eventually died because of that.
The various Championship Managers needed you to make copies of (at the very least) disks 2 and 3 for each separate game - disk 3 saved the game status and disk 2 the stats for the thousands of individual players. |

Goal! needs two types of disks, type 1 to save ingame replays, type 2 to save altered teams, league savestates or cup savestates

Here's a list of games: https://hol.abime.net/hol_search.php..._quickmatch=95
We can also use this thread to add to it. |

How far we've come! Hard drives, memory cards and even cloud saves! I remember overwriting Emlyn Hughes International Soccer on the ST because I didn't have a formatted blank disk available! Kids are chancers aren't they! You live and learn and the independent games shop replaced it! Bless them!

I looked on Lemon Amiga and HOL before I posted the request and couldn’t find any such list. Some games require a specific save disk formatted by the software. Many others just require a formatted blank disk.
TOSEC is a good start! |

That comes to my mind right now, if I remember correctly, I would add to the list of separate save game disk :
- Dungeon Master - Les voyageurs du Temps : la menace - Operation Stealth - Lure of the Temptress Edit: @zodiac: I think you should update your 1st post to keep the list up-to-date. Last edited by malko; 20 November 2022 at 11:53. |

Ambermoon and Amberstar use save disks. They make a 2nd set of disks to play the game. But in reality today you'd play from HDD

Jaguar XJ220. I was quite annoyed the other year when I discovered that my custom tracks weren't there anymore. There were only 3 I did, but they were brilliant.
