For Sale: Amiga A1200, Mint & Recapped + BPPC 060/66 PPC330 & BVision PPC RTG
Hi!
I'm putting up for sale one of my pride & joy projects, after much thought. As seen in the below Video, my A1200 is absolutely immaculate with recent new Keyboard, plastics clean & white. The Motherboard has had the Capacitors replaced by mjnurney and it works 100% perfect with my BPPC & BVision. There are genuine 3.1 Roms installed and it is a Rev 2B board. The Blizzard PPC was upgraded by Stachu to 060 with latest mask, currently clocked at 66mhz and PPC 300mhz (overclocked to 330mhz) I have the original box for the BPPC with matching serial numbers. This unit has SCSI and the SCSI cable is included but not currently utilised. There are 2x 128mb Simms for a total of 256mb Ram. BPPC is Rev0 The BVision PPC has heatsinks fitted (the fan shown in the Video has been removed) but there is a large fan inside the A1200 case to keep it cool. There is no Trapdoor and anyway I'd advise it was left off! I fitted rubber feet approx 1cm to raise the A1200. I'm also including manuals for the A1200 and OS Disks + Driver Disks for the BPPC & BVision but you will need to do your own install since mine just has too many personal key files and copyrighted applications/Games installed. For an extra £90 I will include OS4.1 Classic (will buy brand new for you from Amigakit) and install it to a 4GB CF HDD so you can have the OS setup & running when you receive the machine. Or I can just include a 4gb CF HDD and CF-IDE adapter. Please note there is no floppy drive (removed for Airflow) and terminated. You'll need to temporarily hook one up to do any install or just work in WinUAE like I do! I will also include a Mouse (black Amiga Technologies type) & ATX PSU from Amigakit. PSU is 220-240v only! (not switchable) For this whole setup I would like £1250 + P&P it would be really awesome if the buyer could collect but I will ship if necessary, it will probably have to go in two packages due to insurance, etc. This is an opportunity to own the absolutely top of the line desktop setup which has been fully tested and known to work together flawlessly. Price is fixed - No offers please [ Show youtube player ] Last edited by fitzsteve; 01 April 2013 at 19:07. Reason: added video |

No offers on this new price! ![]() Edit: I'm adding an option to buy just the Blizzard PPC for £795 + P&P Reminder of the specs: Latest mask 060 @ 66mhz & PPC 603e @ 330mhz. 2x 128mb Ram (Total 256mb) It's fully boxed with matching serial number, Power UP CD, Drivers Disks & SCSI cable included. The card is in immaculate condition and fully working of course! *Please note I have to look for the manual, I should have it. No other parts available separately at this time! It's Rev0
I noticed I'd swapped over BPPC's since that Video (I already sold that one which was also Rev0) I'm just uploading a new Video of the actual BPPC offered here. Apologies for that ![]() Will update shortly! |

Steve that sounds great until I convert from £ to $ and it becomes 1800 USD. Ouch.

the BPPC is the majority of the price, and to be fair, that's actually a pretty good one too. Don't forget to factor in that not alot of these cards were made (only in the 4 figures), and even fewer have had their processors swapped with newer masks for more speed like this one. you would expect to see this kind of card to go for around 900-1000 by itself, even without the Bvision.

Thanks for the comments, I'm not trying to take the piss with the price and of course I don't control exchange rates. This is what it will cost you if not more to put together a setup like this.
Don't forget the A1200 is clean and white, its had the caps replaced, and everything you need is included. I'm not going to give it away... It took me a lot of time and effort plus money to build this up and I'll be really sad to see it go. |

I think you will be very hard pushed to get this sort of money even if it's worth it, think of it as selling a car! You're more likely to sell to the most hard line of enthusiast, however fitzsteve I may consider pointing people your way via my website? Can't promise though.
But you deserve the full sell considering what's in this beaut |

Yeah as a whole unit it may be a tough sell and take a while before someone takes interest and figures out a way to get the money. you've also got to remember the odds of someone wanting a BPPC will likely already have an A1200 to put it in.
