Adrian, is it possible to get stuck in dead-end if I missed something? I have a locked door in Act 3, I can not return and I do not know what to do.

That looks OK of course on DH1:

This is how mine is actually running from a compact flash drive as ADH2:

If you can try to run DH1:Wiz/Wiz from the shell it will search for the GameData thus DH1:Wiz/GameData.

You can of course have for example DH1:Games/Wiz/Wiz(exe) as it will search for the GameData as DH1:Games/Wiz/GameData also.

Failing that... it may be your HD drive type is not liked by the loader code?

I hope that helps anyway OK.

It is important to read the Act intro text for Act 3 as a certain spell can unlock the blocked door(s)

@All

Yes somebody bought a copy on disk but wanted usb so we had to reset the counters. It has done OK tho and will sell out pretty soon on disk I think.

Digital orders have been brisk also and for the other games via itch.io

I'm glad I can shortly buy those games I couldn't purchase back in the days ! Yeah, I know... I was one of those teenagers with no pocket money at that time. --- Looking back, I should have just kept a minimal hardware configuration and bought a couple of games, instead of upgrading the hardware at Christmas / birthday and just buying magazines. Well, I was 11-15...

Waiting for the restocking of the physical releases of Tommy etc.

Thank you! Yes we are looking to restock another limited run of the previous titles for November 13th at around 10AM (GMT/UTC). Should Wiz be fortunate enough to sell out by then, we'll do our best to make some more of those too. All Physical games shipped from that point onwards will be supplied on USB stick.

Thanks,

Adrian

Regards the other thing going on here... When I created the game I firmly had stock Amiga 1200 in mind. That is becasue there was at least 23years gap between releases and I missed a lot in-between LOL. I have learned a lot more even in the last few weeks TBH and if there are any further releases I will try to up my game further in an attempt to please even more Amigan's of all shapes and sizes etc. but there are some limits to what I can actually do of course. My methods are somewhat out of touch and old skool in reality.

Thank you all tho. The Wiz launch has been fantastic in spirit generally speaking and I think it was good. I hope that other developers with games in the wings have as much love as I was shown especially last night on the AmigaBill Mutation stream.

Cheers,

Adrian.

Currently playing Wiz!
Congrats. It's awesome - very motivating gameplay. A must-buy imo!

But please: fix the magic hand "bug" (player sprite anim frame)
Its flashing drives me crazy.
Wiz deserves it.

Would be cool if you'd find the time for a small update. Much appreciated.

There are a few easter eggs as you progress through the game. That one is actually the remains of Dr. Clockworx (1st boss) from Doodlebug
