Sentinel by Firebird
I notice this game hasnt been released, has it been successfully dumped?
It's one of my favourite games, killer eerie bacground music, great fun. Last edited by alexh; 27 April 2006 at 22:38. |

We don't have an unmodified copy of either that or another Firebird game, Return to Genesis.
So feel free to dump those, we will get lucky eventually... |

I just tried dumping (mainly for my own interest - see below) E-Motion and seems pretty straight forward if you've a machine with 8+ MB of RAM and a HDD
my main worry is I don't think any of my floppy drives are 100% ok. Anyone know were I can buy replacement internal floppies for an A1200 please? Or if a converted IBM floppy drive will be ok for SPS dumping? |

Some of your drives seemed to be ok.
e.g. the ones running at 299 rpm or 301 rpm should be fine. Or was there a specific problem with those? Just make a test dump using mode 1 and see what happens if in any doubt. |

Hi IFW,
ok, I'll have a look at the list and see which drives those were - out of my 2 external drives 2 of them seemed to have trouble formatting a floppy (might have been dud floppyies, they're all getting on as well) but 1 drive (DF1) seemed to be ok, so I did a test read of E-Motion (mode 0) on that. I've posted the 1MB (zipped) file to you to check, please let me know if it copied ok. I have a large amount of missing SPS games which I'm happy to dump, but some of them I do not know if they are new or second hand. But I'm willing to dump them regardless if it's no trouble for the SPS project to check if they're actually new, unwritten disks or not. Thanks, Gizmomelb |

Hi Gizmomelb,
Please check your email. I think I've replied to everything in detail there. Cheers, IFW |
