hi guys
i'm having troubles in reaching to make work a couple of CD32 rips the Tosec have a good bunch of different adfs, that ok in first need to be extracted/installed on the hard disk, but then most of the time i cannot reach to launch the game, also after trying to make some different 'assign' paths too do those games can be played on whatever HD AGA setting, or i am missing something? |

There is a WHDload for the CD32 version of Kid Chaos

First, it's good to boot with no startup-sequence, disable all hd partition except the boot one and possibly the game must be installed in this one.
In order, for some CD32 games there are also WHDLoad installers, Kid Chaos CD32/AGA has one too and it works. |

oh sure, i already have the whdload set
here i just wanna test all those 'alternative' versions included in the Tosec i think i could just share the results i have on my side, test by test yes, already tried also a crude boot without startup-sequence and the gamefiles in the main HD root here, that Kid Chaos version crash in guru a bit after you launch the main file |

The fact that there are CD32 rips in TOSEC does not mean any of them is actually working. If you want to play CD32 games on an AGA Amiga, either use WHDLoad or a CD32 emulator (there are some, often included with a CDFS).

Quite a few of the CD32 games do work. Some that don't require a fake CD.device. The ones that don't are normally just shovelware that use the RNC loader?
One of the best and simple tests is just add the ISO under WinUae as a hardrive on an A1200 setup as CD0. |
