Problem: Transfer "Wings of Death" demo to adf

Hi,

I usually use a serial cable connected to Amiga and PC to transfer disk images. I own a demo disk of "Wings of Death" which is labeled "unprotected". It boots and plays normally on the Amiga, but when I want to transfer it to my PC via trackdisk, none of the tracks is readable.

Is there a special way to transfer this disk? Does anybody own a disk image of the "Wings of Death" - demo for the Amiga?

Gerry

quite simple, your demo is copy protected, hence you can't read the tracks.

You have a hard drive and a bit of memory ? you can use then RAWREAD,
toni wilen's tool, it can image protected disk like this demo, once sure it doesn't use any tricks in the disk format.

Thanks for this hint. I'm really unexperienced in converting Amiga disks, but I'll give it a try.

Have a nice weekend.

I've got the disk somewhere... it came with another Thalion game.

I also have some Atari St WoD proto-type disks from Dave "Spaz" Moss. They are unremarkable, some of the gfx / sound is ever so slightly different, no menu etc.

If you should manage to convert it, it would be great, if could post it in the zone or mail it to me.

Those would be of interest, too.

Remind me which game it came with and I will try to convert.

I am not going to go through all the Thalion game boxes looking for this disk
