Looks pretty damn good to me!, although i hope i never see him wearing a baseball cap like he is on the title pic for the webpage, that would destroy it for me ( as you can see, i dont like Caps.. lol )

And if Simons voice is from an American, i wont want to play it at all!. For some reason, whenever i play an Adventure game with an American voice over, i just cannot play it!. Another recent adventure game called Dreamfall was great, because the main female protagonist had a well spoken british voice that complimented the game perfectly!.

Here's hoping Simon follows the same path or perhaps a German ( whatever other European country ) speaking in English or something for the English version.

Im picky arent I

Ha! Can't wait, Simon 2 was truly brilliant. I *love* sarcastic humor.

Was there ever a demo of STS3? I loved the first two games, both on the Amiga and PC, but I have never seen the third one, and now there's a fourth one!

Anyway, I hope they make a demo version of this one. I don't buy games unless I've played and liked the demo version.

I agree as well. I played MI4 for about maybe 2 hours, and then said to myself the same thing. All the feeling was lost, and like Kada said, 3D just killed it.

Bähhh! I hate all these 3D games.

What´s wrong with a "good old" 2D Graphics Adventure?

I don´t understand it. The 3D programmers try to put in more atmosphere and it always sucks. I want hand drawn or computer painted backgrounds!

I liked Monkey Island 4, and Grim Fandango is a great adventure game.

The fact they are in 3D doesn't really effect the story.

Could you use the mouse still to click where you wanted to go?

My only problem with MI4 is it doesn't install (so I have no way of playing it) on a 64bit system due to it's stupid 16bit installer.

Monkey Island 4 was a decent adventure game, but it was a fairly disappointing Monkey Island game, if you know what I mean.

And the controls was definitely not what ruined it for me. Grim Fandango is one of the best adventure games ever created, and MI4 had an evolved version of the controls in that one. I had more difficulty in controlling Grim Fandango to be honest.

Now a game with bad controls is Gabriel Knight 3. Takes an hour or two just to get used to the system. Even then it's pretty bad. I hated it. But I played through it 'cause the story and atmosphere was pretty good.

The developer behind the fourth installment is Silver Style Entertainment who are based in Berlin, Germany. That puts the kaibosh on the dry British humour that made the first two games so popular then. Just reading through the story and FAQ on the web site you can see that a lot has already been lost in translation. I think it's likely to be a Simon game in name only.

Oh, one positive point to note is that the control system will be classic point and click.
