Ive actually updated it this week now that I have mantis reports coming through again, chipmem requirements are now 1meg and the extra $10000 is handled by expmem, and also fixed install directory and put in 68000 quit key. |

Whizkid and The Settlers are 2 I can think of unless they have been updated recently.

Yeah pretty much....... read the fucking documentation
But I don't know about anyone else, but when I started doing WHDLoad installs, there was never much consideration for 68000 users, its only later that there was a call for installs to be compatible, most of the early stuff was catered toward AGA and big box Amigas. |

So the only OCS/ECS whdload game left that requires 2MB chip is Sensible World of soccer? I have an HD install version of this game which should not suffer from the famous slowdowns. But there are many whdload versions of sensible world of soccer so would be nice to have all these work with 1MB chip and no slowdowns.
I know I had slowdowns on both my ACA 620 and 2MB chip A600 and Furia 2MB chip A600. I think it worked fine on my ACA 1233 based A1200 though? So any progress in this matter? And are there any other OCS/ECS whdload games except SWOS which hasn't been updated to run on 1MB chip yet? Edit: Also, are there any of the ECS/OCS whdload games that would get any extra features by having 2MB chip, even if they will start with 1MB chip? Like extra sound effects or etc.? Yesterday I tried to run Fusion on my A500/ACA500+ and it hanged up with a black screen. I think I had all the memory enabled (also tried on 7Hz). I'm very new to this stuff, any idea why it might not be working?

Thanks for trying. I'm not 100% sure. I have 512kb trapdoor extension, Amiga is rev6 ECS with the appropriate (for 1MB chip ram) Agnus chip.
In ACA menu I have "1MB fast ram" set to On and "1MB chip extension" set to On. Game shows the initial WHDLoad screen then goes dark. |

So there is one more game I forgot about. Dungeon Master 2 requires 1.5MB chip. It is listed as an AGA game but will run on an ECS machine with enough chip.
So then I know about two OCS/ECS whdload games that requires more than 1MB chip. SWOS and Dungeon Master 2. As mentioned above, Cannon Fodder and Wizkid have later versions which will run on 1MB chip. Any other games I have missed? |
