Nice one Crashdisk. I see Lemmins Revenge added along with Platman, but not those late coverdisks. Shame. Maybe in the next dat version eh.
Now, after "just" getting my Amiga dats all in order at 100%, you go and update them! How rude. Amiga now shows as 709 files missing. Where do you guys go to ferret out the new files usually? Do you collect as you go along, or does someone generally do a "diff" and upload a pack of new stuff somewhere? FTP, Google share, Archive.org i will check all those shortly, i just wondered what usually happens around a new dat release, or does everyone start panicking they aren't 100% and start screaming lol. Like me... right now. |

I will not propose anything for the coming days. There are places where it is a sport to complete TOSEC 100%. It's going to be complicated this time...
Currently, the best place is at -413. Concerning the sources, there are all of them : The Zone, the FTP, the prod proposed the forums, the Warez CDs, the commercial CDs, the dump of private individuals, websites talking about Amiga, torrent files, etc... As a bonus, here is a dat file containing almost 9000 renamed files and not integrated with TOSEC. Some will be next time, some never will be (BAD)... Thanks Crashdisk. As i thought, its off hunting we go. Probably is wise to keep up with the uploads here too, as many get added from here. I know most places you probably get files from so i'll start looking.
In the meantime, i'll try to export a list of the 709 files that need to be sourced and try to keep track of what and where i find things for other people? Not sure how i'd share that info, but if others want to help too, lets get searching |

No problem as long as you don't share software that is still commercially available or APC&TCP soft

Small point on the progress for the Amiga part. The best score is currently 360 missing...
Tips : The majority of the disks in the Camelot collection come from the dumps of idrougge and Rise (Andreas Carlsson). Thanks to them. @dreadnought For main ADF folders : 39,2Gb EXE : 141Mb SPS : 3,5Gb @BippyM I will think about it. Separating the AGA/CD32 commercial games from the rest is an interesting idea...I'll do a simulation to see |

So i found RiSes archive of Camelot disks, all in dms format. Used ADFOpus to convert them, the first 10 verified okay, and a few others here and there, but most did not verify. Have the disks been converted by a different version of ADFOpus maybe, would that result in a different crc? Camelot is now have 27, miss 146. idrougges archives don't have any Camelot disks that i can see. Sad times. I'll keep looking.

Would anyone have an archive of the 170 Camelot disks that idrougge shared, i think back in 2015/16? Anyone who can upload gets a thumbs up and gold star Thanks. I've managed to go from 709 to 679 so far, but i've been focused on these Camelot disks first. Tinyus, Space Invaders and my own additions were some of the few i've managed to verify, long way to go. If you look at threads in this section then you'll see that Crashdisk and mai will eventually put the latest "fix files" on the "Amiga File Server" and I'll move to the correct location |
