Bought myself a second laserdisc player - the LD-V8000 by Pioneer.
This is their high end 'industrial' model which is built like a tank (coming in at around 15Kg), the psu is 120v so I've had to buy a downstep converter. Bought a few laserdiscs too... Amiga buying seems to have taken a backseat for the time being although I have been looking at 500s again. |

Had to read that twice, 15kg not 15k as in price I assume it plays Dragons Lair?

recently I bought KillZone and MetalGearSolid2:Substance for my old PS2.
I'm playing both.. really replaying as I already played both in time of its releases. Man, I like MGS and MGS2.. but this second game is abusive the quantity of time of dialog and non-playing time. ( even if the storytelling is that good.. ) btw, I'll look forward to buy MetalGearSolid3:SnakeEater and replay it. I never finished that game. |

and you remind me, it can even be controlled by the Amiga over the RS232 interface on the back (the manual lists the Mac/IBM and Amiga) |

@Fred: Thanks, cost a bob or two but some are hard to find! Plus, all disks are now safely dumped with my Kryoflux so won't have to touch the disks again!
@voyager: Historyline is in excellent condition, box isn't creased and manuals are very clean and no creases! Same for Settlers, UMS (apart for one sheet that is too big for the box) and Lords of the Rising Sun! @Paul_s: Cool, so can you make people believe it's the Amiga outputting DL as you'll be controlling it with an Amiga Still waiting for Heart of China and Rise of the Dragon to arrive, but in the meantime these turned up today: |

That takes me back!
My group of friends were into our D&D back in the day (early 1990's) and I remember getting sucked into the first Bards Tale on my mates CPC464 (with colour screen!). By 1992 we all had amigas and bards tale was a staple for us. Remember swapping hand drawn level maps at school. Happy days! Also had EOTB and hung on to it until maybe 3 years ago when I ebayed it as no longer had any time to get the old amiga out. Also had the official tips book. You've got a nice haul there. |

And another:
Only issue is spots of mold on the Control Documentation cover, seen when tilted into the light but not really noticeable, other than that all other stuff in excellent condition! |

And yet another:
Disks looked a bit iffy so cleaned them and all dumped OK! Couldn't see much wrong with the box, contents or disks so well chuffed @Neil79: lol, just pipped me! Haven't got room for any more hardware but can still squeeze games in! Nice finds, Hero's Quest I'd like to get plus Dune and Indy! |

Didn't want to buy any more hardware, but £50 couldn't complain, plus I'm getting a free CPC 464 with that too.

Got a spare Amstrad CPC 464 now, cleaned it all up ( It was very manky, covered in dust inside, dead spider, spiderweb and bum fluff ). All lovely now, what's even more fantastic is, it works!!! It does need a new tape belt, which has been ordered for my 464 and this one.
