Technocop is my favourite.

High speed chases and cops and robbers shootouts all on the one disk, with lots of missions too!

Interphase, Jumping Jackson, Stunt Car Racer, Head Over Heels and Speedball 2 are other good ones.

Lotus II
Mercenary III
Rodland
Bubble Bobble
Rainbow Islands... to name but a few.

Dungeon Master
Elite 2 - Frontier
The Faery Tale Adventure
James Pond 2 - Robocod

There were so many features crammed into these one-disk-only games...

i'm highly torn between Turrican II and Frontier.

I probably spent more time playing Frontier but due to the sheer amount of bugs in Frontier I'm going to have to go with Turrican II.

Also definite worthy mention for Deluxe Galaga

Turrican 2 is the one that stands out for me. The way they crammed everything onto the one disk is just astonishing really.

Only really seen this thread today...

I would need to go through all my configs to remind myself of the games that are only 1 disk...

Anyway, so many games that immediately sprang to mind have already been mentioned i.e. Rainbow Islands / Parasol Stars / Midnight Resistance / Golden Axe / NewZealand Story; but one that was only mentioned once (by DrBong so far) is: Pang
