modern memory replacement

there are ram replacements for the 500+ to make the chip ram 2mb
any idea if one if these would work with a supra ram 2000 as each bank uses 1mx1 x 16 ram chips or is there anything that possibly could be done to upgrade the ram with 2mb at a time as for 4mb with 1mx1 chips is around £127 for 16 of them.
